2. EPA Compliance & Purchaser Certification

Refrigerants sold on this Site are subject to the regulations of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act (40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F):

  • By purchasing regulated refrigerants (such as R-22, R-410A, R-404A, R-407C, R-134a, R-32, etc.), you represent and warrant that:
    1. You or your designated end-user are an EPA Section 608 Certified Technician qualified to handle regulated refrigerants; or
    2. You are purchasing these products strictly for resale, commercial distribution, or industrial manufacturing purposes to certified individuals.
  • You agree to comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the handling, recovery, recycling, and non-venting of pressurized fluorinated gases.

3. Product Specifications & Safety Handling

  • Virgin Grade Quality: All refrigerants supplied by Freonix are guaranteed factory-sealed and manufactured to 99.9% purity standards.
  • Pressurized Gases & Safety: Refrigerant cylinders contain compressed gases under high pressure. Customers and handlers must exercise standard industrial safety procedures, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to the product’s Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
  • No Intentional Venting: Federal law prohibits the deliberate release of regulated refrigerants into the atmosphere.

4. Orders, Pricing & Payment

  • Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to accept, refuse, or limit any order placed on our Site for any reason, including product availability, pricing errors, or suspicion of fraudulent activity.
  • Pricing Accuracy: Prices for our products are subject to change without prior notice. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price and refund your payment.
  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, and other authorized digital payment methods. All payments are encrypted and processed through secure third-party payment gateways.

5. Shipping & Title Transfer

  • All shipments are governed by our official Shipping Policy.
  • Title and Risk of Loss: Title to products and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery and acceptance by the certified ground freight carrier.
  • HAZMAT Compliance: Pressurized cylinders are shipped strictly via DOT-compliant ground logistics. Air shipping is prohibited.

6. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refund requests are strictly governed by our Refund & Return Policy. Due to safety and contamination prevention protocols, only unopened cylinders with 100% intact factory valve seals may be eligible for return.
